It is already the 10th anniversary of one of the most awaited annual cultural events in Jönköping. Jönköping Film Festival, as each and every year, is going to show ambitious and thought provoking films, host prominent guest and deliver interesting lectures.
During the five days of the festival the participants can keep themselves busy as the spectrum of activities provided is very wide and it varies from the horror movie night or open cinema to ‘the queer film evening’ proceeded by a topic-related lecture and much, much more. Certainly, everyone can find something for themselves.

The cinema is situated in the main library in Jönköping, close to the main museum.

During autumn and spring Jönköping filmstudio screen films every Thursday. Special prize for students.

Folkets Bio
You can find this alternative cinema in Kulturhuset in the old match making industry area west of the central station. They screen world and art house films during the semesters at wednesdays and sundays.

Stadsgården, Råslätt
The bus no. 1 to Råslätt. Walk straight cross the square to Stadsgården. You will find the cinema in the main corridor on your left hand side.
During autumn and spring films are shown here mainly on Tuesdays.
